Hello there, my name is Carter and I am a landscape/portrait photographer based out of LA. Since I was a boy, I’ve been fascinated with computers. Playing video games, learning hardware, and manipulating software. This hobby led me to pursue a degree in computer science in my undergraduate career, under the impression that I was going to design video games. Little did I know, there was still much to uncover about who I was and my passions as a being. Realizing I didn’t want to code programs the rest of my life, I switched to a degree in Geologic and Environmental Sciences in order to assist in the fight against climate change.

While Photography doesn’t really fall under either of these categories, I believe it to be a harmonious marriage between the two. My passion for the environment, and knowledge of computers has allowed a unique perspective on how we interact with nature. My goal is to capture these beautiful, special moments so everyone can find an appreciation. A picture is worth a thousand words right? Imagery is an incredible way to share my perspective on the world, and inspire those who may not have the privilege, to immerse themselves and find respect for the land we all hold so dear.
