Kearsarge Sunset

After a full day of rain, thunder, and lightning I was blessed with the opening of clouds right before sunset. Unfortunately, I forgot my extra battery and wasn’t able to capture the photo I was originally intending. But things work out for some reason, and this composition presented itself as I was moving to the other site and I knew it needed to be taken. The sky was an intense red and orange that illuminated the entire valley with a beautiful soft hue.
